Don’t Pull the Plug on

MILLIONS OF

Americans

Rural families, schools, public libraries, hospitals and health clinics — millions of us could lose access to affordable broadband service this summer if the Universal Service Fund goes away. It’s up to Congress to keep our communities connected.

The Universal Service Fund (USF) ensures every American — no matter where they live — can access baseline phone and internet. Importantly, it also allows Americans access to telehealth and education that would not otherwise be possible. Today, the USF’s future is in jeopardy after a controversial, precedent-breaking court decision. If Congress fails to act and the USF is struck down by the U.S. Supreme Court, rural communities, and hospitals, schools and libraries nationwide will be disconnected from essential communication services.
